As a part of the Slitting operation at Mubea’s Tailor Rolled Blanks you will oversee the slitting of the coils. This is the fourth step in the process and requires operators to run the machine that slits the coils into different sizes based on customer specifics.

• Physically demanding work

• Self Sufficiency
• Use of technology such as SAP
• Mechanically inclined decision making
• Working off-shift
• On feet for extended amount of time

• Ability to read, write and understand job documentation
• Physical coordination to lift and move product
• Trainable with fork lift truck
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Written and oral communication skills with attention to detail
• Math ability, including conversions (English & Metric units)
• Ability to read, use and understand measuring devices
• Ability to understand machine computer functions
• Trainable with CNC, PLC controls and SPC documentation
• Ability to load material, perform changeovers, make needed adjustments during production and/or tooling changes
