What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee clinical quality and patient safety alignment across various sites
- Coordinate with VA clinical leadership and service-line subject matter experts
- Provide guidance to specialty support teams during operational surge events
- Identify and mitigate clinical risks during go-live and stabilization periods
- Ensure adherence to clinical best practices and VA policy requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), completion of an NP-focused graduate master's or doctoral program, and active NP board certification; or
- Internal Medicine Physician with an MD or DO from an accredited U.S. or Canadian institution and a current, active, full, unrestricted physician license
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Federal Electronic Health Record (EHR) deployments
- Background in clinical informatics or healthcare operations
- Familiarity with VA policies and procedures
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
