Own the organic social content end-to-end — Plan, create, and manage compelling content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
Champion social-first storytelling — Develop original concepts designed specifically for social platforms, beyond adaptations of campaign or seasonal assets.
Support & manage creator-generated content — Partner with influencer team, UGC creators and internal teams to ensure a consistent pipeline of fresh, brand-right content.
Stay ahead of trends — Monitor social trends, industry trends, and cultural moments to capitalize on real-time social content opportunities.
Collaborate on social shoots & production — P artner closely with creative and production teams on social media content shoots from pre-production to completion .
Work cross-functionally — Collaborate with brand marketing, paid media, influencer, creative, and product teams to align content with business goals.
Test & innovate —push creative boundaries and experiment with new formats, storytelling techniques, and interactive content.
A social-first storyteller with 5+ years of experience in social content creation, ideally within fashion, retail, or lifestyle brands.
Deeply immersed in social culture – You live and breathe TikTok, Instagram, and internet culture overall.
A hands-on creator — You’re experienced in concepting, scripting, directing, shooting, and even editing social-first video content when needed.
A trend-spotter — You have a sixth sense for what’s next and know how to make a brand part of the conversation.
Highly organized and adaptable — You thrive in a fast-paced environment where deadlines, priorities, and initiatives pivot frequently

About the Role
The Social Creative Lead is a key role on the organic social team, responsible for driving social-first content excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and evolve the Athleta brand world on social media, fostering newness, engagement, and growth. This role will be responsible for owning content development from concepting through to delivery, overseeing production both internally and with external partners. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, producer, and creative—someone who understands what makes content viral, drives engagement, and builds brand love in a crowded digital landscape.What You'll Do
