- Job Title: Software Development Engineer
- Job Summary: This role designs and develops software applications.

- Build an internet-scale user account system for Pokémon Trainers.
- Solve problems that come with expanding the reach of Pokémon around the globe.
- Create modern user experiences that let Trainers control their presence in the Pokémon ecosystem.
- Write software to integrate with current and upcoming Pokémon Products.
- Develop scalable microservices in a modern cloud platform.
- Learn and apply modern technical standards for the development and testing of software.
- Learn the latest cloud technology and use it to make a resilient, performant, and secure platform.
- Opportunities for development with company funded training and certification.

2+ years of related professional experience.
- A bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- An understanding of the full software development life cycle (design, implementation, deployment, maintenance).
- Familiarity with testing and debugging software in one or more languages.
- The ability to learn new technology and practices both independently and in concert with others.
- A basic understanding of security best practices.
- Fluency in one or more programming languages and the ability to learn new ones
- Experience in some or all of the following technologies preferred: Go, Javascript, Typescript, Python, Postgres, React, AWS Services

Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between 106,350.00 - 126,753.00 per year. The full range is $106,350.00 - $160,500.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
