Architecture: Microservices, REST APIs
Designing, building, and maintaining scalable and reliable backend services and APIs .
Developing features and enhancements using Java and modern cloud-native architecture.
Contributing to microservices that serve both internal applications and external partners.
Writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, with attention to performance and scalability.
Participating in code reviews , knowledge-sharing sessions, and process improvement initiatives.
Collaborating across teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-impact features.
Learning from senior developers and participating in internal training, mentoring, and user groups.
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years’ experience in a related field
Hands-on experience building backend applications using Java, C#, or other object oriented language .
Understanding of RESTful API design.
Familiarity with cloud-native development and CI/CD pipelines .
Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for backend systems.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, especially in distributed teams.

Compensation
Compensation includes a base salary of $72,200.00 - $108,200.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.Job Description

What You’ll Do:
As a Software Engineer I – Backend Focus , you’ll be part of a team designing and developing the core services that drive our platform. Your work will be foundational in creating resilient, secure, and high-performance systems at scale.
