What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Partner with Engineering to design and deploy advanced Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI (Gen-AI) models for issue discovery and detection
- Analyze AI-powered insights to identify on-road issue trends and develop data-driven strategies for monitoring
- Define and document new policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that incorporate AI tools into daily workflows
- Implement robust quality control processes for both human and AI-generated outputs
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Software Quality Operations, ensuring effective adoption of AI/ML advancements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA degree or 4 years of relevant work experience in AV Software Quality Operations
- Competency in all phases of the machine learning development lifecycle, including data preparation, validation, and monitoring
- Experience with ML testing and validation, including dataset quality assurance and performance evaluation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate in a diverse work environment
- Basic SQL querying and programming experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with offshore teams or managing multiple local operations hubs
- Competency in LLM/transformer models or ML experience in the robotics domain
- Self-motivated with skills in task planning and time management
- Experience assessing AV safety performance and communicating with partners
