What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Investigate alleged violations of Illinois Shines program requirements and make recommendations for mediation or disciplinary action
- Draft and edit correspondence related to program violations in compliance with standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with the Consumer Protection team to ensure adherence to internal processes and identify process improvements
- Analyze trends in consumer complaints and recommend proactive measures to enhance program compliance
- Organize and lead meetings with clients and program participants, tracking deliverables and performance metrics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience in compliance, consumer protection, legal/paralegal, regulatory, auditing, and/or quality control
- Strong written communication skills, including the ability to edit and review team members' work
- Exceptional attention to detail and professional client interaction skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, including risk management
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of solar policies, terminology, and programs
- Experience with Salesforce
