- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Public Administration, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related area.
- One year of appropriate work experience; work experience in solid waste operations is desirable.
- A Master’s Degree in Business or Public Administration or a related area may be substituted for the one year of required work experience.
- Work experience in appropriate field may be substituted for the formal education requirement on a year-for-year basis.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
The City of Springfield's Environmental Services Department is seeking qualified applications for the position of Solid Waste Administrative Coordinator. The Solid Waste Administrative Coordinator plays a supervisory role for the scale house team at the Springfield Sanitary Landfill and oversees the financial operations and solid waste software at all of the Solid Waste Facilities. The position is also responsible for commodity and consulting contracts for the Springfield Sanitary Landfill.
