      The role involves designing, solutioning, and supporting complex IP/MPLS and Segment Routing networks for government and enterprise clients. The individual will collaborate closely with customers, sales, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality network solutions, drive large-scale infrastructure projects, and provide technical leadership in pre-sales engagements, with a focus on innovation, scalability, and performance.

      Qualifications

      You have:

      • Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 10+ years of industry experience, including at least 4 years in a customer-facing role.
      • Strong expertise in IP/MPLS and Segment Routing network design and architecture.
      • Solid understanding of protocols and technologies such as Netconf, Telemetry, and gRPC.
      • Hands-on experience on IP/MPLS router.
      • Proven track record in pre-sales or solutioning for IP routing networks across government, large enterprises, MSOs, or service providers.
      • Good understanding of Data Centre Fabric (DCF) solutions and SDN architectures.
      • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and customers effectively.
      • Experience in large-scale IP infrastructure projects (e.g., BharatNet) or with clients such as PGCIL, RailTel is highly desirable.

      • Lead functional teams or projects of moderate complexity, managing resources, resolving day-to-day team challenges, and ensuring timely delivery.
      • Support staff development and performance by providing mentorship, direction, and technical expertise.

      Nokia’s transition to a primary focus on telecommunications began in the 1990s. The first GSM call was made in 1991 using Nokia equipment. The 2015 acquisition of Franco-American telecommunications equipment provider Alcatel-Lucent greatly broadened the scope of Nokia’s portfolio and customer base. Additional acquisitions have positioned Nokia to be an industry leader in the transition to 5G wireless technology by offering the only end-to-end 5G network portfolio available on a global basis. In 2016 the Nokia brand re-entered the mobile handset market through a licensing agreement with HMD Global, allowing them to offer phones under the Nokia brand.
