What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assist in developing business strategies to acquire new customers through indirect channel partners
- Design customer solutions that ensure protected circuit design and appropriate bandwidth for future growth
- Serve as a national technical expert, reviewing RFP responses for accuracy and content
- Provide technical support and problem resolution for field service inquiries
- Develop and deliver effective presentations and facilitate group workshops
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 7 years in a technical sales or solutions engineering role within the telecommunications industry
- At least 5 years of experience working directly with partners in the indirect sales channel
- Bachelor's degree in a related field; technology or engineering preferred
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Internet technologies, networking protocols, and voice network technologies
- Familiarity with business continuity and disaster recovery concepts
- Ability to create technical designs and diagrams of customer solutions
- Relevant certifications such as CCDA or CCNA
- Experience in project management and meeting deadlines
