Support the creation and execution of Request for Proposals (RFPs). Request for Quotes (RFQs) or Requests for Information (RFIs) and communicate results.
Support stakeholders and suppliers with the end-to-end or defined components of the RFX process including issues, conflict resolution and responding to inquiries.
Support supplier financial analysis activities such as producing financial reports and supplier assessments.
Contribute to the creation and execution of contracts and amendments including signatures and storage.
Support team to manage cost reduction for spend categories by creating or validating and approving savings forms, verifying small/diverse suppliers, and conducting opportunity assessments and target setting processes.
Support activities using a centralized system for the Pfizer’s sourcing and contracting processes along with execution and storage of supplier documentation.
Maintain a library of standard contract templates, clauses, and terms and conditions that can be easily adapted to meet specific business needs.
Build reports on the business performance and financial management of the procurement teams.
Provide training and support of procurement capabilities: policy, processes, technology, cross-category support, and other enabling programs and services.
Work closely with the sourcing team to develop and implement policies related to sourcing, procurement, and vendor management.
Understand, explore, and apply knowledge of various systems such as sourcing platforms, vendor management systems, and e-procurement tools in the sourcing activities and coordinate with IT teams to ensure that the systems are functioning properly, implementing new features, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Support the implementation of technology solutions to improve sourcing processes and may involve working with IT teams to implement new systems and providing training and support to end-users.
Typically operates in a predominantly operational manner.
Typically manages sourcing and contracting activities of low to medium scope complexity.
Applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business management, or a related discipline ; OR Associate's degree with four years of relevant experience; OR six years of relevant experience with a high school diploma or equivalent
Understanding of sourcing and contracting processes
Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Client engagement and customer relationship management skills
Ability to understand and work on implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Effective communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
Self-starter, requiring limited guidance and/or structure.
Typical Years of Experience: Up to 2 years of experience in procurement or supply chain supporting regional / global operations
Experience in execution of p rocurement, sourcing, contracting and cost reduction projects
Experience creating and processing documentation such as RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, tracking sheets and contracts.
Preferred experience with SAP Ariba suite of tools, particularly Ariba or a similar Enterprise Procurement Software.
Fundamental knowledge of standard procurement , sourcing, contracting & savings processes
Basic understanding of project management, including the ability to participate in multiple cross-functional projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
Knowledge of workflow ticketing and tracking systems
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of standard MS Office tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Knowledge of various systems such as sourcing platforms, vendor management systems, and e-procurement tools
Basic knowledge of building financial reports
Sourcing and contracting experience related to the following strategic categories: Consulting & Professional Services, R&D, Marketing & Media, Direct Materials, Packaging, Contract Manufacturing, Construction/Facility/MRO, IT.
Life Sciences-Procurement related experience

ROLE SUMMARY
As part of Global Procurement, the Source to Contract(S2C) Partner role provides multiple sourcing and contracting services to our Pfizer stakeholders. These services are executed through a variety of associated activities and projects to support the company's procurement operations.
The Source to Contract Partner is responsible for delivering sourcing and contracting value through the support of all procurement capabilities: policy, processes, technology, cross-category support, and other enabling programs.
The Partner is responsible for effective execution of policy development, managing ongoing maintenance / compliance and procurement technology platforms.
