  Job Description

  Anantara Spa is looking for a Spa Manager responsible for managing all daily operations with us in the heart of Amsterdam, including state of the art facilities and well-appointed Health club where the highest Anantara standards are observed.

  Your main responsibilities are;

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the Spa operations to ensure the highest standards of service delivery and guest satisfaction;
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives;
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of spa professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork;
  • Portray a professional image to maintain and enhance the reputation of the Anantara brand;
  • Builds strong relationships with guests, anticipate on their needs, and ensure exceptional guest experiences;
  • Maintain the Anantara standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety throughout the spa facilities;
  • Implement effective sales and marketing strategies to elevate spa bookings and retail sales;
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and maximize cross-selling opportunities;
  • All materials and supplies need to be available in order to operate without interruption;
  • Create a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement, motivation, and continuous improvement;
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

  Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business and/or Hospitality Management;
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Spa Manager within a 5-star luxury Spa;
  • Ability to connect effectively across diverse cultures;
  • Outstanding grooming and communication skills;
  • Service-oriented mindset focused on exceeding guest expectations;
  • Well-organized and represents calmness;
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in the English language, Dutch is a plus.
