What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a proactive ambassador for the employer's cooperative purchasing programs
- Cultivate strong, collaborative relationships with key program partners, including K-12 district administrators and vendors
- Collaborate with the Manager of Enterprise Partnerships to plan and execute outreach strategies for existing partners
- Actively participate in marketing efforts, including presentations and workshops at conferences
- Build and maintain effective relationships with vendors to ensure contract compliance and performance standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive related work experience, with at least 1 year in an outreach-driven, external-facing sales or customer service environment
- Familiarity with California public education procurement processes
- Excellent communication skills and comfort using multiple channels for outreach
- Understanding of effective relationship development and outreach strategies
- Knowledge of procurement law and regulations, or willingness to learn
