What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide technical support to the product group and merchants regarding new products and integrations
- Prepare customized POS test scripts and generate test scripts, verifying results throughout the process
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for new certifications and assist external developers in fixing variances
- Develop and manage relationships with POS developers, third-party processors, and other business areas
- Test and analyze POS systems against compliance from various payment requirements, reporting any defects to software developers
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma and post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Bilingual (French/English) is required
- Excellent communication and writing skills to convey clear specifications and reports
- Ability to manage multiple activities of varying complexity under time constraints
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Tandem and Base-24 is an asset
- Familiarity with credit card operations (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, etc.) and Interac regulations
- Strong problem-solving and investigative skills
- Willingness to take ownership of work to continuously improve performance
