What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with allied health disciplines to provide quality patient care
- Consult with healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication selection and use
- Coordinate and deliver ongoing education for clinical staff pharmacists
- Review and recommend improvements to the medication use process based on adverse events
- Provide clinical pharmacy services as outlined in approved hospital policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Required Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy
- 1 year PGY1 Pharmacy Residency required
- 3 years of experience in the area of specialization required
- Registered Pharmacist (RPh) - State Licensing Board
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) certification as required by the unit
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Preferred Doctorate in Pharmacy
- 1 year PGY-2 Pharmacy residency preferred
- Board Certified in applicable area of specialty or pharmacotherapy (to be obtained within 24 months)
