What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Directly promote the employer's products and develop business relationships with therapeutic specialists in the assigned territory
- Educate healthcare professionals about the employer's products, including current approved indications
- Analyze business trends in the territory to understand prescribing behaviors and decision-making processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to meet the needs of healthcare professionals and patients
- Prepare and execute a tactical business plan for the assigned territory, ensuring compliance with all regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five years of pharmaceutical sales experience
- At least two years of specialist sales experience preferred (e.g., neurologists, pulmonologists, psychiatrists, or sleep specialists)
- Four-year college/university degree or equivalent required
- Strong knowledge of applicable disease states and competitor products
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Current relationships with hospitals, sleep labs, neurologists, pulmonologists, and sleep specialists in the territory
- Experience in hospital/account-based navigation and closed access accounts
- Background in specialty sales or orphan/rare disease therapeutic sales
- Familiarity with REMS/hub or central pharmacy processes
- Experience in planning and executing product launch strategies in both live and virtual settings
