The Supplier Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring that materials and components supplied by external vendors meet the company's quality standards. This role involves managing supplier quality performance, conducting audits, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating closely with internal teams and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
· Ensure compliance to quality policy, procedures and work instructions, documented quality systems, and all Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) procedures, policies, and work instructions. In addition, ensure compliance to statutory and regulatory requirements.
· Participate in disposition and root cause analysis of discrepant material and corrective actions to prevent further discrepancies.
· Works closely with segment Supplier Quality and Design Engineering teams to improve supplier performance.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure alignment on quality standards and expectations.
· Evaluate and approve new suppliers based on quality criteria, including conducting initial audits and assessments.
· Monitor and assess the ongoing performance of suppliers through regular reviews, audits, and performance metrics.
· Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement corrective action plans to address quality issues.
· Analyze supplier quality data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
· Prepare and present regular reports on supplier performance, quality metrics, and improvement actions to management.
· Maintain accurate records of supplier quality issues, corrective actions, and audit results.
· Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree
· Advanced English skills
· Current VISA and Passport
· Over 5-7 years of experience on quality management activities such as quality systems development, customer and supplier quality relations, process controls, and/or corrective and preventive action
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, etc.
· Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO/TS 16949, etc.) and regulatory requirements
· Expertise on auditing suppliers process based on quality standards.
· Advanced understanding in drawings and tolerancing
· Leadership experience
· Knowledge on implementation for incoming material
· Ability and willingness to work in-person.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Experience implementing quality systems in the manufacturing industry.
· 7-10 years of experience with the use of corrective actions, root cause analysis, statistical methods, advanced product quality planning (APQP) and failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA).
· Experience in the automotive and/or aerospace industry
· Knowledge on fixture design
· Familiarity with AWS
· Knowledge on painting processes
· Demonstrated ability in developing and implementing supplier development programs.
· Knowledge of and use of Lean Principles; continuous improvement, process management, 3P, cost downs, TQM (Total Quality Management), Kaizen events, quality containment, root cause analysis, supplier reliability and control plans. Desirable Black Belt
