What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage financial accounting, reporting, and month-end close processes
- Prepare and post journal entries for general accounting and product costing
- Ensure accurate financial data through reconciliations and compliance with financial policies
- Participate in process improvements in accounting and reporting
- Provide direction and training to accounting staff and build relationships across the organization
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Minimum of three years of experience in financial reporting/accounting
- At least two years of costing experience within a manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of general accounting matters and IFRS/GAAP
- Proven organizational skills and a strong client service mindset
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPA and/or MBA in Finance/Accounting
- Public accounting experience with exposure to medium-to-large companies
- Advanced experience with SAP software or similar ERP systems
