      Job Description

      As the Senior Advisor – List Acquisition, you will lead strategic initiatives to acquire one-time and sustainer donors through innovative list acquisition strategies. This high-impact role is at the heart of expanding the donor pipeline that fuels St. Jude’s life-saving mission.

      What You’ll Do

      • Drive Strategy: Develop and implement integrated, multi-channel acquisition campaigns targeting diverse audiences to grow the donor marketing file.
      • Lead Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and apply best practices in direct response marketing to optimize revenue and donor objectives.
      • Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with cross-divisional teams and external agencies to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
      • Manage Performance: Oversee multi-million-dollar revenue goals, expense management, and campaign ROI.
      • Champion Data: Use data-driven insights to inform decisions, improve targeting, and enhance donor engagement.
      • Travel: Approximately 4-6 trips a year to Memphis, TN for enterprise, divisional, or vendor events.

      Job Requirements:

      Education & Experience:

      • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Fundraising, Business, or related field.
      • Minimum 8 years of experience in direct response marketing with a focus on list acquisition.
      • Core Expertise:
        • Strategic direct response marketing experience.
        • Strong data literacy and analytical skills.
        • Proven ability in project and revenue management.
        • Exceptional relationship-building and collaboration skills.
        • Awareness of industry trends and an innovative mindset.
      • Technical Knowledge:
        • Thorough understanding of direct marketing best practices and brand integrity.
        • Experience with emerging platforms and channels, including direct mail, digital, social, and mobile.

      (Candidates in the Greater Memphis, TN area will be eligible for hybrid working schedule.)
