What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee all aspects of the audit process, including tracking audit notifications and managing fieldwork
- Review and analyze audit claims and relevant contracts to develop recommendations for label clients
- Facilitate settlement negotiations between auditing parties and WMG's internal label clients
- Prepare and distribute monthly and quarterly Audit Reserves/P&L Reports to label clients
- Manage junior team members and coordinate audit tracking and reporting activities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience managing the external audit process for a record label
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office applications, with emphasis on Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines consistently and manage multiple assignments effectively
- Comprehensive working knowledge of WMG's EROS artist royalty system
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business
- Familiarity with legacy royalty systems used by major U.S. labels (e.g., Atlantic Records, Warner Bros. Records)
