What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support the identification and execution of strategic projects, acting as a resource and thought partner to key stakeholders
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses to generate actionable business insights and recommendations
- Collaborate with various teams and utilize external resources to enhance market understanding and inform strategy development
- Apply data and analytics methodologies to guide strategic direction and validate hypotheses
- Communicate complex business concepts clearly and succinctly to convey actionable insights
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance, planning, product/program management, or strategy-related fields
- Ability to synthesize and communicate business information effectively for various audiences
- Skilled in transforming data into impactful business narratives with actionable recommendations
- Proven ability to prioritize projects and align them with business strategy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building trust and cooperation among cross-functional teams
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong foundational business and financial acumen, with a desire to develop strategic skills within the automotive industry
- Proven experience in developing and executing strategic initiatives and business strategies
- Familiarity with GM research resources, including internal databases and subject matter experts
- Experience analyzing market and customer research data with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
