      About the job

      The Life Sciences Sales Division is looking for a Sr. Associate Account Executive who is passionate about building authentic relationships with Life Sciences customers, wants to help solve their business problems and is ready to drive sales of SAS software products, solutions, and services. The Account Executive is responsible for driving growth in accounts in our Life Sciences portfolio for the United States market. This includes development of new and existing account relationships to expand our existing footprint, business prospecting and sales across customer business units. You will champion the sales cycle and work across teams to achieve the best solution for our customer.

      As an Account Executive, you will:

      • Act as the account lead on assigned accounts, setting the sales strategy for individual accounts to drive adoption of SAS solutions and taking overall responsibility for developing and enhancing the client relationship.
      • Drive growth through hunting new opportunities and building strong relationships with clients
      • Understand and document customers' business and IT strategies, priorities, and goals, identify and qualify business opportunities, understand key customer objections, and develop the strategy to resolve blockers.
      • Build and manage client relationships. Manage the shaping and closure of opportunities leveraging a team of SAS specialists to support the sales process.
      • Oversee negotiations involving contract terms and pricing
      • Carry a revenue quota to meet or exceed sales targets within assigned accounts.
      • Serve as the primary day to day contact for clients in respective territory.
      • Ensures all applicable security policies and processes are followed to support the organization's secure software development goals.

      Required Qualifications

      • 2+ years of Software Sales experience
      • Bachelor’s degree
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Self-driven, organized, strong time management skills.
      • Demonstrated analytical, reasoning, planning and problem-solving abilities.
      • Ability to Travel (25%)
