What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate with business and technology teams to determine system requirements and specifications
- Analyze business and technical processes to develop new and modified information processing systems
- Document product/service requirements and develop test procedures to ensure user requests are executed
- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize collected requirements and track customer needs
- Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to guide project execution
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in gathering requirements, writing documentation, and collaborating with developers
- Extensive experience using Jira for managing user stories, epics, and issues
- Proficiency in SharePoint, Confluence, and Microsoft Suite
- Experience managing a team of Business Analysts and Technical Writers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience supporting integrations as a Business Analyst in backend processes without GUI interfaces
- Familiarity with VA Corporate Database, MPI, VA Profile Database, and existing API services in the VA network
- Experience working with VA and/or other Federal Agencies
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment
- Well-versed in Agile Methodology, particularly in the VA Veteran-Focused Integration Process (VIP)
