What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze and process complex medical malpractice claims, managing them to timely resolution
- Conduct investigations and provide detailed reports on claims and legal actions
- Negotiate claim settlements within designated authority levels
- Coordinate legal defense and monitor compliance with client guidelines
- Identify and investigate fraud, subrogation, and recovery opportunities to minimize claim costs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in claims management, specifically in medical malpractice
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent judgment and discretion in handling complex claims
- Effective communication skills for maintaining professional client relationships
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with legal defense coordination and settlement strategies
- Familiarity with cost containment techniques and vendor partnerships
- Background in fraud investigation related to claims
