What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide expert technical advice and consultation on Federal procurement processes
- Analyze proposals and conduct price and cost analysis to ensure price reasonableness
- Develop action plans for resolving complex problems in acquisition management
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to convey accurate information
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 24 semester hours in relevant fields such as accounting, business, or finance
- Minimum 10 years of direct Federal procurement experience
- At least 5 years as a Federal government employee in the 1102 series or equivalent
- Additional 5 years in direct support of Federal procurements in a relevant capacity
- Exceptional knowledge of acquisition management and Federal contracting principles
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of Federal and DOD acquisition and procurement procedures
- Experience with contract writing system PD2
