What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead continuous ATO efforts, ensuring compliance with DoD, NIST, and federal cybersecurity frameworks
- Implement risk management frameworks (RMF) 2.0 and conduct security control assessments
- Collaborate with IT, network, and security teams to enhance the organization's cybersecurity posture
- Provide incident response support and effectively mitigate security threats
- Write System Security Plans (SSPs) and manage security controls assessment artifacts in eMASS
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 15 years of experience in RMF/ATOs and 5 years as a CCRI or SCA-V assessor
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification or equivalent
- Extensive experience in continuous ATO processes and DoD cybersecurity policies
- Strong background in assessing custom cloud-based applications and DevSecOps
- Proficiency in vulnerability management with ACAS/Tenable.SC or similar platforms
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- AWS Security Specialty certification
- RMF Certification or equivalent with detailed knowledge of NIST SP 800-53
- Experience drafting RMF products
- Strong communication skills to effectively brief senior leadership and stakeholders
