What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Analyze entity relationship diagrams, file specifications, and database models to create detailed ETL mappings and report specifications
- Perform data analysis, data cleansing, test data creation, and data verification during design and testing phases
- Create testing documents and assist customers with user testing
- Collaborate with technical and business teams on project-related documentation
- Meet with users to clarify requirements and define development plans

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Business Analyst in a Data Warehouse project environment
- 5+ years of experience working with technical developers and end users to align solutions with business requirements
- 5+ years of working knowledge of relational databases and database structures
- 4+ years of experience analyzing database structures and developing ETL or reporting specifications
- 3+ years of experience with Teradata SQL Assistant/SQL

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience facilitating customer requirements gathering meetings or JAD sessions
- Familiarity with the State of Michigan PMM/SUITE methodology
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Ability to design applications considering data reconciliation and reporting performance
- Business Analyst experience in a state government environment
