What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct informed pre-reviews of consent forms and other research-related materials
- Collaborate with board members and staff to ensure quality, efficiency, and service standards are met
- Develop and deliver key deliverables for the team
- Identify and implement strategies to improve quality and efficiency
- Provide research and interpretation of consent-related issues as requested
- Provide training and guidance to team members and external clients
- Coach and mentor team members as assigned
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex problems
- Assist with consulting deliverables requiring consent-related expertise
- Perform other activities with company-wide visibility
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of experience editing consent forms and other consent documents
- Demonstrated expertise in consent-related matters
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in using company databases and systems
- Ability to work independently and under tight deadlines
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CIP certification or completion of CIP within one year of eligibility
- Experience providing training and guidance to teams or groups
- Familiarity with scientific/medical terminology
- Administrative/project management experience
