- being an integral member of the projects permitting team, leading efficient environmental and regulatory reviews, and preparing application material.
- advancing the implementation of the projects cultural heritage mitigation.
- utilising information already gathered for the project, as well as ensuring cross project consistency and information exchange, and building on lessons learnt from across our portfolio
- setting the project up for success for construction and operation by ensuring that the permits secured for the project are complied with in close collaboration with the project team
- identifying and offering solutions and strategies to the projects permitting leadership team to avoid or minimize risks within the projects permitting scope of work
- supporting wider department priorities, incl. building a strong team culture, mentoring junior team members, and helping build a team framed around trust and collaboration.
- hold, as a minimum, a bachelor’s degree within a relevant field, e.g., permitting, environmental policy, marine biology, or other related disciplines
- capable of taking a leading role on more complex permits from initiation through to implementation.
- have demonstrated experience of US environmental regulations framework as they relate to permitting an offshore wind farm,
- expected to resolve most questions and problems independently, present options when referring the more complex issues to higher levels and achieve results,
- have experience in the implementation of cultural heritage or environmental monitoring and mitigation.
- hold an understanding of some of the concerns that are pertinent to Connecticut and Rhode Island decision and policy makers a material advantage
- have a high level of ambition with strong personal drive, collaborative and open-minded, be innovative and ready to bring fresh ideas to the table
- thrive in a global work environment, working both independently and collaboratively with your colleagues in the US and Europe.
Join us in this role where you’ll play a key role in delivering our offshore wind projects on the east coast of the United States. Our team of environmental and permitting specialists work to secure permits from federal and state agencies. In this role, you’ll support our Revolution Wind project located off the coast of Connecticut and Rhode Island.

You’ll be part of our offshore wind Permitting team where you, together with your colleagues, will help drive permitting success by leading a range of environmental, permitting, and scientific topics to support securing and implementing permits for federal and state permits for our offshore wind farm, exporting cables, and onshore links to the existing transmission grid. As a team, we work closely with the Revolution project team, environmental specialists, regulatory authorities, and other key stakeholders to advance the Revolution Offshore Wind project through construction and into operations.You’ll play an important role in:
