What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide end-user support by analyzing and diagnosing system problems, identifying root causes, and resolving issues or escalating them as needed
- Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and enhance system performance and usability
- Design, implement, and support Epic applications while ensuring ongoing optimization and performance
- Conduct system testing, validation, and quality assurance to ensure compliance and optimal system functionality
- Partner with clinical staff and IT teams to evaluate, design, develop, test, implement, and maintain systems
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience
- Two or more Epic Certifications from a specified list (e.g., EpicCare Ambulatory, Healthy Planet, Beacon)
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex technical issues autonomously
- Excellent communication skills for effective information exchange across various organizational levels
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Additional certifications in other Epic applications or related fields
- Experience with system integrations and interoperability efforts
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional application initiatives
- Background in healthcare IT or health information management
- Proven track record of driving system improvements and optimizations
