What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the expert on credit underwriting and loan origination during late-stage sales cycles to support key deals
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to create training materials and go-to-market messaging for the lending industry
- Work closely with the Product team to validate product roadmaps and provide industry feedback
- Develop and onboard key partners within the lending ecosystem to ensure effective collaboration
- Advise on regulatory changes affecting product strategy and market compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5-10 years of experience in credit underwriting, loan origination, or related roles within banks, credit unions, or lending-focused fintechs
- Deep understanding of the loan lifecycle from application to funding
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Strategic thinking abilities with a focus on problem-solving
- Experience in client-facing roles with the ability to engage senior executives and technical stakeholders
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a B2B fintech or software company in a similar subject matter expert, product marketing, or sales engineering role
- Familiarity with various Loan Origination Systems (LOS)
