- Lead human resources activities for the Marine Systems business by partnering with leadership to develop and integrate HR strategies into the planning processes
- Serve as HR business partner to program and engineering leaders and employees
- Lead team of HR Business Partners who support manufacturing operations
- Facilitation of all facets of organizational design and workforce planning
- Ensure the right talent is in place to meet current and future business demands
- Coach and mentor local team in all facets of HR Management
- Manage all aspects of employee relations to foster a positive employee environment
- Collaborate with Textron Systems Human Resources Centers of Excellence to provide a full spectrum of solutions to meet strategic priorities
- Ensure local team is knowledgeable about and able to comply with Textron policies and ensure compliance with Federal, State and local laws and regulations
- Partner with leaders to make metric driven business decisions
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field
- 10+ years’ experience in HR Business Partnering or other relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Strong influencing and consulting skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
- Possess strong planning skills and be adept at dealing with ambiguity
- Comfort with higher management
- Ability to successfully manage competing priorities
- Team player, willing to step in to support team wherever needed

About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, y ou will h ave oversight and autonomy as a member of the site leadership team, driving strategic HR initiatives to support the company’s business strategies. You will also provide hands-on human resources business partner support to the local Senior Leadership team along with program and engineering in a manufacturing environment. This position will manage a team of dedicated HR professionals responsible for the people, culture, and business continuity of the Marine Systems business.
