What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead incident response and investigation activities for various cybersecurity threats
- Perform event correlation to enhance detection capabilities across cybersecurity technologies
- Maintain compliance with NIST standards and develop incident response documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve the organization's overall security posture
- Implement security controls and conduct routine audits to protect digital assets
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in information security
- 3+ years of focused experience in cloud security for IaaS environments, particularly AWS
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and Threat Intel Platforms
- Strong knowledge of CIS & NIST frameworks
- Previous SOC experience with incident response and threat hunting
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Relevant industry certifications (CISSP, Security +, CySA +, CASP +, Azure or AWS security certifications)
- Experience with Windows, Linux, and MacOS security best practices
- Offensive security or Red Team experience
- Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls and network security concepts
