What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform transaction-specific discounted cash flow analysis (DCF) to evaluate investment returns and analyze various scenarios
- Clearly summarize and communicate analytical results to high-level stakeholders
- Develop and maintain investment decision models using advanced MS Excel and Visual Basic programming
- Research and organize data to support investment decision models and gain insights
- Provide analytical support to portfolio and fleet management by developing and maintaining various models
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (engineering, transportation, mathematics, economics, statistics, finance, etc.)
- Minimum of five years of relevant experience in investment analysis, capital investment, lease pricing, or similar activities
- Advanced level MS Excel skills and general proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word & PowerPoint)
- Proven understanding of financial concepts, capital market theory, and relevant economic and accounting principles
- Demonstrated aptitude in developing applications with Visual Basic or equivalent programming languages
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree
- Exposure to statistical analysis, probability theory, and simulation techniques
- Familiarity with data visualization software and database management systems
- Experience with lease evaluation models
