      T he Logistics Design and Innovation o rganization is responsible for the design and visibility strategies for Global Transport Solutions organization in Global Logistics Network Solutions accountable for distri bution and transportation of Pfizer’s temperature sensitive products . The compliance lead is accountable for the development of end -to-end ( E2E) business processes as part of the Global Logistics Network Solutions q uality m anagement s ystem .

      The role will stand as a unique and centralized contact for SCMSQ and Supply chain Compliance colleagues answering critical supply chain and global transport solutions distribution strategies .

      This role is responsible for a consistent E2E Global Transport Solutions compliance strateg y and certify a seamless quality-controlled experience to customers.

      This SME will be the single point of contact for the audit, knowledgeable in all aspects of Global Transport business operation s and will be able identify business colleagues with knowledge or expertise in area for further input as needed .

      T he role wil l be accountable to lead the continuous improvement with QMS and Compliance team to reduce overdue records , document change management and strengthen best practices for temperature-controlled distribution of Pfizer’s products.

      1) Global Transport Compliance Lead will be responsible for d evelop ing a udit readiness playbook and sustained audit preparation strategy with quality compliance teams within Pfizer

      2) The compliance lead will be the transport c ompliance & u nplanned Incident management SME for P rocess Centric Teams working on investigations for product release

      3) The compliance lead will m aintain global transport solution standard operating procedures with respective sub - teams and develops a periodic review cycle in line with GDP principles wit hin a fast-paced distribution environment

      4) Compliance lead play a critical role enabling agile operations and bring a solution-oriented mindset

      5) Compliance lead will be responsible for u pdat ing role profiles for a dynami c and agile organization , creates efficiencies to reduce overall workload

      6) Responsible to conduct g ap a nalysis across global transport solutions business processes and champions efficient bridging solution s for a global team

      7) The compliance lead will be the change control subject matter expert for SCM as well transport expert for driving lane risk assessments in a global distribution environment

      8) The compliance lead will drive an d represent global transport solutions in quality cultur e forums and effectively work with teams to reduc e overdue recor ds and trainings . The SME will further drive streamlining necessary trainings needed per sub-tea m.

      Technical skills

      Basic

      • Bachelor’s degree, minimum of 7 years experiences in Pharmaceutical Logistics, Transportation or Supply Chain management in an international environment, product management, and market facing capabilities.

      • Strong working knowledge of: import / export procedures, health regulatory requirements and other governmental agencies governing inbound and outbound trade, international air and ocean freight operations, freight rate structure and negotiation and freight forwarders' regional/global operations.

      • Experience with cold chain and other temperature control shipping systems, international freight management systems, analytical tools, freight payment cost management and, freight claims management.

      • 3-5+ years of experience working with regulatory bodies (domestic and/or international) and sophisticated knowledge of: Regulatory guidelines around qualifying and utilizing temperature control shipping systems, Health regulatory standards, Governmental agencies governing inbound and outbound trade

      Preferred

      • Preferred Master’s degree in Business Administration , Supply Chain or other Engineering discipline.

      • Experience working with biologics and biosimilar products

      Competencies :

      • Expert with in-depth and breadth of expertise in transportation, quality and broad knowledge of other disciplines within temperature control distribution and GSC function

      • Ability to understand dynamic distribution environment and apply GDP principles with broad range of products

      • Detail-oriented with the ability to translate nuanced regulatory requirements into feasible logistics strateg y

      • Can analyze operational process issues and develop appropriate and practical corrective and preventative solutions

      • Demonstrate knowledge through practical application

      • Leverages determination, persistence, and eagerness to drive objectives

      • Fosters collaborative, inclusive, and transparent workplace environment

      • Have a strong operational coordination and collaboration skillset

      • Articulates clearly and concisely whilst engaging with team and Senior Management

      • Stakeholder management and collaborative experience spanning: Global Stakeholders (NORAM; EMEA; LATAM; APAC ) , Supply Chain and Quality Partners , Cross-functional teams

      • Effective verbal and written communication

      • Capacity to work in a cross functional environment

      • Commitment to transparency and accountability across all organizational areas and in engagements with colleagues and stakeholders

      The annual base salary for this position ranges from $131,200.00 to $218,600.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
