- Lead a team of motivated professionals, develop and coach the team towards procurement best practices in accordance with the Procurement strategy.
- Directly manage Business Service, IT and Marketing Categories.
- Engage with business stakeholders to form category strategy and develop procurement projects that maximize company performance.
- Partner on the procurement project roadmap with the Vice President, and drive project execution.
- Evaluate and develop supplier base and partnerships through a strong Supplier Relationship Management to create a reliable and long-term source of supply.
- Support vendor excellence via agreements, process improvements, and best practices
- Apply best practices in improving maturity of procurement Supplier Relationship Management, contracting, onboarding, and purchase request/order processes.
- Create and lead enterprise-based negotiation strategies which secure savings performance.
- Monitor Category Performance
- Ability to independently work and influence outcomes with Executive Level Leadership
- Ability to influence outcomes through Service provider performance.
- Must have experience in Procurement Category Management. Specific experience in Business Services, IT and Marketing.
- Ability to independently read and understand MSAs, facilitate RFP/Q process, and write SOWs agreements.
- Understanding of sourcing and vendor management tools and analysis
- Comfortable with data collection, analyzing, and interpreting data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
- 10+ years of Procurement Category Management experience with demonstrated track record of achievement and growth in leadership.
- Research, anticipate, manage risk as you review trends in the marketplace
- Start-up team environment

Job Overview:
As a successful as a Category Leader, you should be able to succeed in conducting RFP/Q, reviewing MSAs and writing SOWs as they relate to Strategic Sourcing activities and processes within an organization. Lead and support your team to remove roadblocks to ensure team performance. You will have excellent leadership abilities and be able to negotiate the best possible deal structure taking an enterprise approach.
As a Category Sr. Manager, you will report to the Vice President of Procurement. Our Procurement team covers both Indirect and Direct spend. This key position will support the Indirect Procurement projects. The Manager will be able to evaluate the Indirect business needs through spend analysis and develop with stakeholder’s business spend solutions.
