What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research and analyze government policy and regulatory changes impacting the employer
- Lead and maintain the Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Program for compliance
- Establish a confidential reporting channel for cybersecurity compliance concerns
- Engage with aerospace and defense industry organizations to influence cybersecurity policies
- Communicate insights and updates to Digital Governance, Risk, and Compliance Leaders
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of experience within a cybersecurity organization
- Bachelor's degree in digital technology, cybersecurity, business administration, law, finance, or related fields
- At least one professional certification (e.g., CISSP, CCEP, CISA)
- Proven ability to build stakeholder relationships and collaborate across remote teams
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with U.S. DoD and international cybersecurity and privacy laws and regulations
- Deep understanding of aerospace and defense industry's regulatory requirements (e.g., CUI, ITAR, DFARS)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive critical thinking and strong analytical skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
