  What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  - Conduct comprehensive market research initiatives focused on the retail sector, providing strategic insights related to store performance, trade areas, and business generation
  - Perform advanced data mining and analysis on large datasets to identify patterns and opportunities for growth
  - Develop and apply statistical techniques to forecast retail market dynamics and evaluate business performance
  - Synthesize research findings into clear, visually compelling reports and presentations for executive leadership
  - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research insights into retail strategies and mentor junior analysts
  
  What is Required (Qualifications):
  - Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a quantitative discipline; MBA or MBS preferred
  - Experience with statistical analysis tools and software, such as R, Python, SPSS, or SAS
  - Strong proficiency in data mining techniques and machine learning algorithms, as well as SQL querying
  - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in preparing executive-level reports
  - Detail-oriented with the ability to handle ambiguity and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  
  How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  - Experience with big data platforms such as Hadoop or Spark
  - Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
  - Ability to create mathematical models for forecasting store sales and cannibalization
  - Advanced user of Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
  - Experience in preparing and delivering presentations to executive stakeholders
