What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead procurement execution for medium to high criticality sourcing events
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies and supplier lists for various projects
- Conduct evaluations of proposals and negotiate contracts with suppliers
- Oversee contract life-cycle management, ensuring compliance and administration
- Mentor and support less experienced procurement personnel
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 5-7 years of related experience in procurement
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and industry-specific IT systems
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain supplier relationships
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in a related field
- Experience in large industrial construction procurement
- Familiarity with digital document approval platforms like DocuSign and Adobe Sign
- Prior experience interfacing with clients and engineering entities
- Experience in multiple industrial market sectors
