The Product Compliance teams ensure that Amazon transactions satisfy legal and safety requirements. We coordinate the aspects of product transactions that are regulated (distribution, shipping, sale, and import/export). This involves analyzing product import documentation and flagging hazardous risks. We are also responsible for keeping Amazon customers safe and informed by coordinating actions around food safety recalls. These actions include removing recalled/restricted products from the site and from our warehouses, and contacting customers with pertinent safety information.

The Compliance Operations Team is here to make sure Amazon customers are safe and informed by analyzing product import documentation, flagging risks and ensuring that transactions are legal and safe. You can build the future with us, by enhancing and optimizing a world-class system that delivers amazing results.
Your responsibilities may include:
- To ensure that the imported products have been tested in certified laboratories and that they comply with the legal requirements of the importing country.
- To classify products based on their potential hazardous risk, for regulatory storage and transportation purposes.
- To take appropriate actions in order to protect customers from recalled or unsafe products.
- To identify and remove from the website products that violate our Restricted Products policies and satisfy Amazon’s regulatory obligations for these products.
- To improve optimization and standardization of global trade processes and best practices within Amazon’s internal businesses.
Review products to ensure regulatory compliance on all products that are made available for sale on Amazon from all sources
Write rules to identify and action unsafe and non-compliant
Suppressing products based on authorities announcements
Create rules and audit the Amazon website and restrict the unsafe products
Identify and remove from the website products that violate our Food Safety policies and proactively satisfy Amazon’s regulatory obligations for these products.
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience with Excel
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Arabic
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English- Knowledge of consumer product compliance processes and regulations
- Experience in regulatory compliance management with government agencies
- Experience in data-driven business operations processes
- Knowledge of basic SQL.About the company
