      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop proposals, reports, and project plans for various construction projects
      - Monitor the safety of staff on projects and ensure compliance with specifications
      - Manage and inspect multiple projects across different locations in the state
      - Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project objectives
      - Provide direction and technical guidance to junior staff while ensuring quality control

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
      - Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management
      - Michigan Professional Engineer License
      - Solid understanding of MDOT construction requirements and local agency permitting
      - Experience with construction projects for municipal clients and MDOT

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Familiarity with AASHTO ware, ProjectWise, and other construction management software
      - Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical judgment capabilities
      - Ability to effectively manage project schedules and budgets
      - Experience in training less experienced staff and collaborating within a team
