- Lead land due diligence for project acquisitions, including detailed review of site control, title, survey, access, and encumbrances.
- Identify and assess material land risks and recommend practical curative strategies in coordination with legal and development teams.
- Work directly with landowners, title companies, surveyors, and counsel to resolve issues pre - and post - close.
- Support negotiation and structuring of leases and easements for advanced development projects.
- Track land - related milestones, obligations, and compliance items through development and into construction.
- Provide land risk input to support permitting, financing, and long - term project bankability.
- Prepare and organize land documentation for asset sales, financings, and IPP diligence.
- Support buyer, lender, and tax equity diligence related to title, survey, access, and site control.
- Ensure clean handoff of land contracts, payment obligations, and post - close requirements.
- 5-8 years of experience in real estate, land development, and renewable energy transactions.
- Demonstrated ability to independently analyze real estate agreements, title commitments, and surveys.
- Experience supporting project acquisitions, financings, or asset sales.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize land risks for investment audiences.
- Experience with renewable energy projects (solar and/or storage).
- Familiarity with title curative tools, endorsements, and survey exceptions.
- Legal or paralegal background in real estate transactions.

Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Sr. Real Estate & Land Management Specialist to support and lead real estate diligence and risk management for our community solar & storage acquisition and development business. This role is critical to project acquisitions, requiring the ability to independently read, analyze, and interpret real estate documents, including leases, easements, title commitments, and surveys, and provide practical guidance on curative actions and risk mitigation.
The role is focused on underwriting land risk, validating site control, and ensuring projects are investment - ready from LOI through closing and beyond.
