What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Cultivate and manage relationships with assigned brokers and territories to achieve profitable new business growth objectives
- Develop and execute business plans with assigned brokers and agents, conducting periodic review meetings
- Manage the entire sales process with assigned brokers and direct sales leads
- Present to decision-makers and conduct member education sessions as needed
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on sales strategies in the small and mid-market segment
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience or High School diploma and 9 years of related experience
- Must obtain a Life and Health Insurance License in Florida within 90 days of hire
- Driver's License required
- Experience in business acumen, customer relations, leadership, or the health insurance industry
- Experience with Group Insurance for large groups (100+ eligible employees) preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience as a Sales Representative within the healthcare or employee benefits sector
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Experience mentoring or training others in a sales environment
- Familiarity with best practices in sales strategies for health insurance
- Knowledge of the Florida healthcare market and regulations
