What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct high-level technical sales and business development for specialty chemicals
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers, distributors, and buyers
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve sales and marketing goals
- Develop and implement long-term sales plans and pricing strategies
- Research market conditions and analyze data to identify sales opportunities and product needs
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5-10 years of account management experience in the petrochemical industry
- Strong technical knowledge and experience in specialty chemicals
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective negotiation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in technical sales of specialty chemicals and/or white oils
- MBA beneficial
- Understanding of supply and distribution and refining procedures
