  Essential Job Functions *

  
  

  1. Security Engineering

  
  

  
  
  • Engineer security solutions collaboratively with internal departments and vendors.
  
  
  • Analyze security systems and continuously seek improvements through baselining.
  
  
  • Research vulnerabilities, perform scans, and mitigate threats with infrastructure support.
  
  
  • Perform cyber security incident triage, log review, and remediation activities.
  
  
  • Review and optimize access control for least privileged access.
  
  
  • Manage Microsoft security solutions for Azure and Office365.
  
  
  • Maintain and oversee DLP controls within Microsoft.
  
  

  
  

  2. Quality Control

  
  

  
  
  • Understand the importance and benefits of quality assurance processes.
  
  
  • Develop and update documentation for Sarbanes-Oxley and change control.
  
  
  • Adhere to configuration management policies and procedures.
  
  
  • Resolve technical and business issues through the standard escalation process.
  
  
  • Coordinate problem resolution using appropriate administrative tools.
  
  
  • Regularly review vendor technical libraries for network and software enhancements.
  
  
  • Assist with disaster recovery activities as needed.
  
  
  • Establish adequate test environments and create detailed test plans.
  
  

  
  

  3. Project Management

  
  

  
  
  • Lead or participate in project-planning sessions to analyze development requirements and provide design recommendations for complex infrastructures.
  
  
  • Incorporate project methodology and serve as a technical coordinator for medium-scale projects.
  
  
  • Ensure project budgets are adhered to and deadlines are met.
  
  

  
  

  4. Leadership & Financial Accountability

  
  

  
  
  • Mentor junior security staff.
  
  
  • Ensure adherence to project budgets and financial accountability.

  Education & Experience

  
  

  
  
  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in one of the following areas Computer Science, Engineering, Technical, Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
  
  
  • Individual will also have an industry recognized certification such as CISSP, GIAC, CEH, CISM, CSSLP, GCFA, GCIH
