Job Description

- Engineer security solutions collaboratively with internal departments and vendors.
- Analyze security systems and continuously seek improvements through baselining.
- Research vulnerabilities, perform scans, and mitigate threats with infrastructure support.
- Perform cyber security incident triage, log review, and remediation activities.
- Review and optimize access control for least privileged access.
- Manage Microsoft security solutions for Azure and Office365.
- Maintain and oversee DLP controls within Microsoft.
- Understand the importance and benefits of quality assurance processes.
- Develop and update documentation for Sarbanes-Oxley and change control.
- Adhere to configuration management policies and procedures.
- Resolve technical and business issues through the standard escalation process.
- Coordinate problem resolution using appropriate administrative tools.
- Regularly review vendor technical libraries for network and software enhancements.
- Assist with disaster recovery activities as needed.
- Establish adequate test environments and create detailed test plans.
- Lead or participate in project-planning sessions to analyze development requirements and provide design recommendations for complex infrastructures.
- Incorporate project methodology and serve as a technical coordinator for medium-scale projects.
- Ensure project budgets are adhered to and deadlines are met.
- Mentor junior security staff.
- Ensure adherence to project budgets and financial accountability.
- Bachelor or Master’s Degree in one of the following areas Computer Science, Engineering, Technical, Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- Individual will also have an industry recognized certification such as CISSP, GIAC, CEH, CISM, CSSLP, GCFA, GCIH
- Minimum 4 years of security engineering experience
