      Sr Sell Through Manager

      Irvine, CA/ Full-time

      Your responsibilities

      The Sr. Sell Through Manager will be responsible for the P&L of their category including managing pricing, promotion and placement and will influence the product in collaboration with the Product Owner. Sr. Sell Through Manager will develop regional brand portfolio strategy including value class strategy, assortment definition, and pricing. Responsible for tracking the category’s T/O and profit in regard to the definition of regional product assortments and target price positioning. Responsible for ongoing success of running business. Ensure local implementation of regional and global marketing and brand strategies and provide input to the product development processes and ensure coherence with market requirements for product and corresponding digital consumer experience. Collaborate with sales, demand planning, factories, and supply chain to ensure business is running smoothly. Responsible for deploying the promotional budgets and brand marketing budgets to ensure meeting the category revenue, sell through structure and profitability targets.

      The Sr. Sell Through Manager will be managing a medium sized category and will have the assistance of the Head of Sell Through Management or the Head of BU in strategy definition and delivering KPIs.

      · Lead BU sell-through strategy, sufficiency planning, and implementation

      · Define efficient assortment and SKUs distribution outage; Manage variants & ensure fulfillment of variant reduction targets

      · Develop consumer promotion strategy and quarterly plan guidance

      · Develop trade and customer specific maximization plans for BU (commercial) innovation

      · Identify and address on-going BU improvement opportunities related to location, space, fixtures, POSM, pricing, and counseling staff

      · Define, monitor and steer assortments/ portfolio at regional level across US and Canada (incl.framework for channel management regarding assortment and pricing)

      · Create promotional strategies across different channels and deploy promotional budget

      · Create marketing strategies across different media channels and deploy category specific marketing budgets

      · Analyze, compile and define market requirements concerning trends, consumers, competitors, distribution, based on regional consumer journey framework, supported by regional experts

      · Develop and set strategic price positioning, define min./target revenues for sales channels based on regional targets

      · Support go-to-market approach for new products / launches

      · Steer profitability of product portfolio across countries

      · Prepare and present the product line to the dealers and in trade shows

      · Be the key sales interface for running business

      · Support sales areas/ subsidiaries to ensure successful implementation of business unit strategy

      Your profile

      · Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, Business) – Required

      · Master's Degree (Marketing, Business) – Preferred

      · 7-10 Years of Experience (Category management, product management, product marketing, Sales and promotional budget steering) – Required

      · Optimistic, creative and motivating personality, with excellent problem solving skills

      · Market and consumer knowledge, knowing customers and stakeholders

      · Understanding of value chain with focus on marketing and sales

      · Marketing and/or promotional budget steering

      · Sensing of market trends and gaps and resulting product opportunities

      · Expertise in Go-to-Market and product launches

      · Expertise in assortment management (regional and local levels)

      · Knowledge of pricing systems design, execution and controlling

      · Execution of holistic marketing concepts with regional focus

      · Awareness of critical future capabilities based on strategic ambition and existing gaps, ability to close those gaps and set further trends

      · Strong collaboration/ communication skills in dealing with different stakeholders, sought-after networker & partner

      · Experience in using agile methods/ new ways of collaboration

      · Analytical, planning and negotiation skills

      · Ability to provide purpose, commitment and transparency as well as setting clear expectations

      · Travel required based on business needs; domestic and international

      · Experience in home appliances, FMCG or consumer electronics is a plus

      · Travel Percentage – 30%

      Your Pay & Benefits

      The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.

      Benefits offered include the following:

The plan provides a fully vested 100% employer match on the first 4% of compensation contributed and also includes an annual employer-funded profit sharing contribution dependent on company profitability.

      · Two weeks of paid vacation for all non-temporary status new hires below Director level positions. Vacation entitlement increases based on years of service with BSH.

      · Unlimited paid vacation for all Director and above level positions.

      · The greater of (a) 40 hours of paid sick leave or (b) state or local minimum requirements for paid leave (Non-Production Line).

      · 40 hours of paid personal leave (Production Line).

      · 12 days of paid holidays per year (max 8 hours paid per day).

      · BSH provides ongoing product training, uniforms, computer tablet, cell phone and a company vehicle for eligible positions.
