What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct personal meetings and telephone contact with agents to meet or exceed sales objectives
- Manage territory by evaluating competitor products, rates, and activities, offering strategic recommendations
- Maintain current knowledge of underwriting territory and agents' business sources
- Create actionable Agency Sales Plans aligned with financial objectives for growth and retention
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agents to achieve financial objectives
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5+ years of P&C Small Business/Commercial sales and marketing experience
- Established relationships with commercial agents and brokers
- Proven outstanding sales performance with strong motivation to succeed
- Exceptional sales, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and travel within assigned territory; valid Driver's license required
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with agency training and development
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Technologically savvy with proficiency in Microsoft tools such as SalesForce, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
