What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the monitoring of security alerts and events from various security tools
- Lead investigations of security incidents and develop remediation strategies
- Establish standards for incident documentation and ensure proper escalation paths
- Analyze logs across endpoints and cloud environments to identify anomalies
- Collaborate with incident response and engineering teams for deeper investigations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a SOC, cybersecurity, or IT security operations role
- Ability to exercise independent judgment in security event analysis
- Experience guiding and mentoring junior SOC analysts
- Hands-on experience with security operations platforms and tools
- Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with SIEM tools and EDR platforms
- Experience managing endpoint security and system patching tools
- Proficiency with scripting languages for automation
- Understanding of common attack vectors and cybersecurity frameworks
