      Chemonics seeks an Sr. Talent Management Specialist to coordinate the design, implementation, and continual improvement of Chemonics' corporate level talent management standards, tools, and programming. In coordination with the Director, the Sr. Specialist disseminates and supports consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and programs in workforce and succession planning, performance management, corrective actions, and employee relations across business lines. The Sr. Specialist collaborates closely and inclusively across the Human Resources department and with human resource counterparts across the company, demonstrating excellent customer service, while providing timely consultative expertise to help find solutions for emerging HR challenges.       Responsibilities:

      Talent Management (TM) Programming and Initiatives
      • Coordinates corporate Talent Management program design, implementation, and communication in close coordination with Human Resources department leads and HR counterparts across the organization.
      • Manages the implementation of engagement and recognition programming, as applicable.
      • Manages content and implementation of the mandatory Anti-Harassment and Discrimination course.
      • Evaluates and supports continual improvement and dissemination of Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) policies and procedures, sharing knowledge and lessons learned among the HR community of practice.
      • Supports updates and revisions to HR resources for processes related to TM/HRBPs including work instructions, policy manuals, guidance, and other HR records.
      • Provides consultative support to subsidiary HR counterparts as needed.
      • Actively participates and contributes to TM work planning.

      HR Business Partner and Employee Relations
      • Leads employee relations cases and investigations for assigned divisions. May manage high-risk and high-profile employee relations issues (e.g., EEOC, DCOHR, etc.) in coordination with the Director, Talent Management, including liaising with counsel, advising internal stakeholders on proper procedure, and ensuring effective investigation documentation is kept.
      • Leads and coordinates the corporate performance management cycle.
      • Supports oversight and management of the domestic remote work process and agreement tracking.
      • Provides proactive support to the community of HRBPs in areas of performance management, including corrective actions and involuntary separations, managing and investigating employee relations issues, providing executive coaching, etc.
      • Provides support in areas of staff care and wellness and connects employees and projects to staff care services and resources as requested, particularly as part of crisis management response.
      • Supports corporate workforce analysis and reporting, staffing trends, analysis of retention and exit survey data, and overall talent management strategy.
      • Supports audit and analysis of employee relations case data for trends and reporting.
      • Identifies (and where possible implements) process improvements; builds tools and resources
      • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.


      Requirements:
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required; HR certification S/PHR, SHRM-S/CP, or equivalent highly desired.
      • Minimum five years of progressive human resources or related experience required; experience designing and/or implementing HR programs a plus.
      • Working knowledge and experience in at least one of the following HR practices: talent management, professional development, performance management, employee relations, or a combination. Global HR and employment law a plus.
      • Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines with project management experience a plus.
      • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
      • Demonstrated strong organizational skills.
      • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, and lead presentations, training courses, and effective meetings.
      • Demonstrated ability to maintain discretion and work with highly confidential and/or protected information.
      • Exhibits high emotional IQ with emphasis on empathy and compassion.
      • Knowledge of MS Office applications and HR information systems.
      • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.
      • Authorization to work in the U.S. required.
