What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting to monitor the performance of the sales organization
- Develop forecasting models to determine optimal staffing and hiring levels across sales teams
- Design and implement sales commission plans that align with company goals
- Analyze sales performance data to evaluate the effectiveness of commission plans and recommend adjustments
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, providing actionable insights
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- 8+ years of analytical experience in an e-commerce, marketplace, or home services-related field
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools such as Python or R
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Proven ability to develop and apply predictive models to enhance sales performance
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience developing and implementing sales and commission plans for a large sales organization
- Experience with headcount planning and sales organization support analytics
- Strong communication skills to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in coaching or mentoring junior team members
